Summary

I’m a financially oriented fellow with broad experience in accounting, financing, planning and financial management. I have extensive experience with residential and commercial real estate, healthcare, business management and general financial consulting. I am interested in real estate development, business development, process mapping, helping stakeholders & managers think strategically and integrating the CFO position into the nuances of organizational operations.

I have functioned in the CFO position for most of my working career. I have hands on financial experience in healthcare, agriculture, and real estate (both commercial and residential). I have also been a real estate developer. During this time, I have financed hundreds of millions of dollars in construction and capital projects, dealt with Boards of Directors, various members of multiple “C-Suites”, and managed an investor base that spanned half-way around the globe.

My duties have included operational reporting, cash management, insurance, legal, HR, oversight of tax preparation for multiple entities, budgeting, leasing oversight for nearly 3 million square feet of commercial property, lender relations and management of all credit facilities.

In addition to the above work experience, I have consulted with various businesses through the years, helping them with business plan preparation, financing strategies, real estate development, entitlements, process mapping, staff reorganizations, organization chart preparation, position description development, internal and external financial reporting, cash management and marketing.

Education

I have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a concentration in accounting, and an MBA. I am also a licensed real estate broker in California.
