Information we collect
We collect the information needed to run our internal task system: a staff member’s name, email address, role, the tasks assigned to them and their status, and — only for staff who choose to receive text reminders — their mobile phone number. This application is for CVGAO staff; we do not collect information from the general public through it.
How we use information
We use this information solely to operate the task system and to notify staff about their tasks — by email and, for staff who opt in, by SMS text message. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it.
SMS / text messaging
CVGAO Farm Tasks sends SMS task reminders only to staff who have opted in by providing their mobile number to a manager and consenting to receive them. Message frequency varies (typically up to about one message per day). Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP; reply HELP for help, or contact [email protected].
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information. Mobile information and your SMS opt-in/consent will never be shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number and consent are used solely to deliver the task notifications you opted into.
Service providers
We rely on a few vendors to run the service: Supabase (application database and hosting), Resend (email delivery), and Twilio (SMS delivery). They process data only to provide these functions on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.
Data retention & security
We keep information for as long as needed to operate the system and meet our record-keeping needs, and we take reasonable measures to protect it. You may ask us to update or remove your information, or to stop SMS messages, by contacting [email protected].

We may update this policy from time to time; the effective date below reflects the latest version.
